Message and request from the Club President

I would like to welcome everybody to March Bears RUFC 2007/2008 season.

Firstly I would like to say on behalf of the club a big thank you to Reg Flack for his contribution over the last few years to the club, as the former Club president.

We are now starting the 2007/2008 season, with new captains for the 1st XV Matty Day, Cloin Buck captaining the 2nd XV. Wish them both good luck for the season. The decision was taken to put the 1st XV into the IPA Premiere Merit Table.

The VPs have this year booked their bi-annual visit to Italy, to watch England play on February 10th 2008, (and the wonderful stories of this trip will be told for years to come).

We are one year away from our 40th year as a club being founded in 1968, and looking back through some old records (with some help from Linda Stevens) apparently Wisbech was the first team that we played the result of this game seems to have been lost over the years.

We are planning to hold a Presidents, Players, past and present reunion dinner for the season 2008-2009, a date has not been decided.

I have been given a list of names of players over the years, but some may have been overlooked, I would appreciate any details of players along with contact information.
